Welcome to our top quality vintage green and white stripy sun canopy for VW T2 Splits cargo doors!

It offers you a nice vintage look of the 1950s-60s as well as the protection from the sun.

Ideal for days out, you can erect this sun canopy in a matter of minutes. This sun canopy connects to the side rain gutter on the van by using the sewn-in rubber clamping strip which has the correct profile built-in to clamp/grip onto the rain gutter. It is a very strong connection. When we tested it by pulling the canopy away from the van, the whole van was pulled rocking but the canopy stays on nicely.

It is also very easy to put on and to take off. Simply start from one end and push the clamping rubber onto the rain gutter throughout to the other end. Job done! With a bit of practice, one person can set this sun canopy up easily! It comes with a piece of nice hard wood to overhang the cargo doors. it is tied onto the sun canopy and will rest onto the door frames. It also comes with 2 guy ropes and 2 tent pegs for pegging down the sun canopy.

It measures 110 cm wide (along the length of the van) and 60cm deep (distance out from the van). The material we use for this classic sun canopy is a high grade cotton canvas similar to the 1950s-60s westfalia sun canopy. And the colour is also similar to the originals.

As supplied the canopy is designed for attaching to your camper rain gutter by using the clamping rubber strip with special profile to clamp on your rain gutter for all VW models with rain gutters.

The sun canopy is supplied in a box with a packed size of 110cm x12cm x 6cm and weighing 2kg.
