Stainless steel double roof bed conversion frame and fittings (excluding wood) for Westfalia Early Bay. This kit enables you to change your Early Bay Westfalia single roof bunk into a double roof bed. Wooden board required separately.
Some customers asked if there is room to close the roof bed when a person is in it. The answer is yes, you have room to put the "pillow" portion board and cushion in when a large adult is in the roof bed. The reason is for this conversion kit, the "pillow portion" board is free from the other board. Both the wooden board and the cushion can be left "downstairs" when you get on to the roof bed. Once you are in, you can get the cushion inside and put the "pillow" portion board in place where it will be held by the 2 s/s corner strip/piece at both edges. Then you can put the foam cushion on top of the board and lie down to sleep.
