Heavy duty waterproof cotton canvas cover fits original Steel Hoops for loading bed on VW T2 Bay Window Single Cab pick ups 1968-1979.

 

Replaces the original loading bed canvas on VW T2 Bay Window Single Cab pick-ups. Made to match the original specification in colour, style, and weight, with several deliberate improvements over the factory canvas.

Fits: VW T2 Bay Window Single Cab, 1968–1979. Compatible with original steel hoops and NLA reproduction hoops (ref. C9576). Not guaranteed to fit reproduction drop gates where hooks are not positioned to original spec — contact us before ordering if using aftermarket drop gates.

Includes: 1x canvas complete with all fittings — rectangular eyelets (aluminium and brass), lock loops, and hooks. Attaches directly to existing loops on the vehicle; eyelets are pre-stitched into the canvas.

Material: Heavy-duty tan polycotton — upgraded from pure cotton for improved UV resistance and greater dimensional stability against shrinkage. The cab-rear window panel is soft transparent PVC rather than the original hard plastic, eliminating cracking when folded. Window frames and fitting surrounds are genuine cow leather in a matching tan colour.

Care instructions are included in the box. Please follow these and carry out regular maintenance to preserve your canvas. NLA VW Parts cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from incorrect use or failure to maintain the canvas.
