Early Bay T2 Westfalia Stainless Steel Roof Hinges 1968-73

Early Bay T2 Westfalia Pop top Roof Hinges (sold as a pair) for 1968 to 1973 models where the hinges are fitted to the front of the roof bus (See Picture).

Stainless Steel Westfalia Roof Hinges. These are made from polished stainless steel and stainless fastenings, with nylon washers and bushes which give a smooth opening and closing action. They come complete with all the fittings to mount hinges to the roof.

The originals were galvanised steel and are No Longer Available. Many buses have bent cross brace tubes after years of use and these replacement units are an improvement as they have thick flat cross brace bars like later bays. (Please note that the hinges in the photos are originals with tubes rather than flat cross braces).
